Photo Blend

Oscar has just released his new and exciting piece of software named Photo Blend and I look forward to testing it.

Pixarra TwistedBrush Pro Studio

My extended trial version of Pixarra’s interesting piece of software named TwistedBrush Pro Studio has just expired so now I have bought it. It has more than 5000 different brushes available, which should be enough for most of us. So far I have used it (the trial version) to make the brush strokes for one of my latest AOPs, Pino.

PostworkShop Pro

Today I purchased PostworkShop Pro after having read about it in the Mediachance forum. It claims to have more than 400 «natural media looking styles under the categories of drawing, graphic arts, oil painting, watercolor, pencil sketch, acrylic painting and photo effects». Testing it should keep me busy for a while!

Quick colour changes with Tintii

By sheer luck I came across an interesting piece of software today called Tintii. It can be used to quickly make dramatic changes in colour photos.  It separates all the major colours in a photo and lets you change them separately. More info here: http://www.indii.org/software/tintii

Exciting software

Having been a loyal user of Mediachance software for years I didn’t hesitate too long when I recently saw Oscar’s newest creation, Dynamic Auto-Painter. I tested the trial version just a couple of hours before I picked up my credit card this morning. DAP seems to have a lot of potential. Below an example where I have used the Camille preset which is based on the works of Jean C. Camille Corot and Camille Pissarro. I am not familiar with any of them but I like what this AOP does.
